At InterLook, we are a dedicated professional advising firm specializing in self-development and the cultivation of effective leaders. Our approach centers around the Myers Briggs Type Indicator assessment, a powerful tool that unveils individuals' unique gifts by fostering a deep understanding of oneself, motivations, inherent strengths, and areas for potential growth. As a committed small business owner, Monica takes pride in steering organizations towards success through the transformative power of MBTI insights.
Our purpose at Interlook is to empower and inspire our clients to delve into self-discovery, fostering environments that are not just productive but also fulfilling and positive. We firmly believe in the inherent potential within each individual to instigate positive change in their lives. We are here to guide and support you on your journey toward personal growth and transformation, simultaneously addressing concerns such as turnover reduction and optimizing the potential of your business.
The inception of InterLook emerged from interactions with individuals in business and office settings who sought assistance with challenges like high turnover rates, strained interpersonal office relationships, and ineffective management. We firmly hold that the bedrock of a company's success lies in fostering strong interpersonal connections.
The framework of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a comprehensive model for understanding personality preferences and behaviors. At its core are four dichotomies, which capture fundamental aspects of personality: Extraversion vs. Introversion, Sensing vs. Intuition, Thinking vs. Feeling, and Judging vs. Perceiving. These dichotomies form the basis for categorizing individuals into 16 distinct personality types, each represented by a four-letter code.
MBTI also assesses the clarity of an individual's preference within each dichotomy, recognizing that preferences may vary in strength. Additionally, each dichotomy corresponds to a set of psychological
functions, representing different ways of perceiving and judging information.
The MBTI framework acknowledges the dynamic interplay of personality, with individuals capable of flexibly using different functions based on context and development. Finally, the MBTI framework has a wide range of applications in personal and professional contexts, including career development, team building, leadership enhancement, and personal growth.
